Customise your view
The Enquiry Bank has several quality-of-life controls that let you tailor what you see without changing any data. All of these live in the options menu at the top right of the page.
Toggle columns
Choose Toggle Columns from the options menu. A panel appears listing every available column with a visibility switch and a drag handle.
- Show or hide: Flip the switch next to a column name. Hidden columns disappear from the table immediately.
- Reorder: Drag the grip handle next to a column name up or down to rearrange the table layout.
- Reset: A reset button at the bottom restores the default column set and order.
Your choices are saved per device — if you use the app on a different machine or browser, you will see the defaults until you configure that device.
Tooltip visibility
Choose Tooltip Visibility from the options menu. Four toggles appear:
- Customer — hover over a customer name to see address and GST at a glance.
- Contact Person — hover to see email, phone, and post.
- Product — hover over a product column to see the full product code and description.
- Price — hover over the amount to see a per-item price breakdown.
Switch off any tooltip you find distracting. The setting is remembered across sessions on the same device.
Default status
Choose Default Status from the options menu. Pick the enquiry status that should be pre-selected every time you open the Enquiry Bank.
For example, if you mostly work on pending enquiries, set the default to Pending. When you navigate to the bank, the status filter is already applied — no need to pick it each visit.
You can always change the status filter manually during a session; the default only controls what you see on first load.
Show queued only
Choose Show queued only from the options menu. The table narrows to enquiries that have been queued for sending but not yet approved.
When this filter is active:
- Each row gains a Send Mail shortcut in the Actions column, letting you open the quotation send modal directly without navigating into the enquiry first.
- The status filter is overridden — only queued enquiries appear regardless of other filters.
Toggle it off from the same menu entry to return to the normal view.
Common questions
Do other users see my column layout?
No. Column visibility and order are stored locally on your device. Each user configures their own view independently.
I accidentally hid all columns — how do I fix it?
Open Toggle Columns and click the reset button at the bottom of the panel. All columns return to their default state.
Can I set different defaults for different statuses on different devices?
Yes. Because all preferences are per-device, your laptop can default to Pending while your desktop defaults to Submitted — each saves independently.
